So I am a sucker for music that allows one to be vulnerable while including the elements of R&B, and Snoh did just that. My fave at the moment is Toronto, mainly because the electric guitar wasn’t BS’ing and it puts me in the mind of Prince ... vulgar but not at the same time. I also appreciate the following track, Love Like That, where you have the type of love no one else can understand —And you don’t have to explain. The melody wasn’t my fave in the beginning , but when I gave it some time, Love Like That became appreciated. No I.D. is one of my favorite producers and you can always tell his production apart from any other. Nothing to Me is JAMMING —Talk that shit and have the sample to back it up . Snoh Aalegra has an impressive album. I began listening to her when her EP Don't Explain was released, but wasn’t moved. One thing I’d like to see her take more risks with her voice. I love what she did with I Want You Around ,so I know it’s there. I look forward to her future projects.
