Since Cardi B hit the scene, I've always been a fan of her personality— It's big as hell, yet relatable (She says what most of us are thinking). Her music has always been questionable, due to her voice and how she runs over the beat at times, but I must say
Invasion of Privacy exceeded my expectations. She's talking Cash Money and considering the tomfoolery this so called "dating scene" has presented to me at the start of 2018, I NEEDED IT. Her debut album is motivating, cocky, comical, with several BARS. I also appreciate the sampling of a Memphis classic,
Chickenhead, on Cardi's
Bickenhead. It'll be tight if she throws La Chat in for the remix.
Ladies, Summer 2018 is ours!
Album Faves:
- Bickenhead
- Be Careful - A lot of people aren't a fan, but i loved the beat and believed she needed to show versatility with this single. Every track can't be a club hit. I was feeling Trina's Here We Go vibes on this one.
- Money Bag
- Thru Your Phone - A shame the kids won't know about Left Eye setting that million dollar mansion on fire.
- I Do (feat. SZA)
