While listening to this project, I realized that this man can float on any type of song, whether it’s House, Hip Hop, Pop, or Contemporary R&B. if You Feel is smooth and versatile. If this is your first time checking him out, the first track, FIND ME., will make you give the side-eye— like “Damn, is this about to be a pop album??” But it’s absolutely not. He pays homage to all the genres mentioned above and it basically introduces you to his artistry as you continue to explore the album. I’m all about cohesiveness when I listen to albums in their entirety. And once again, Xavier delivered.
Moments Spent Loving You (produced by Sango) was ranked #9 of the Top 10 albums of 2019 on Garden of Freqs. We love a consistent man.
