Dungeon Family Reunion Tour

The South Got Something To Say
This year I spent my 4/20 holiday in Atlanta, GA. And although I had no luck finding Mary nearby.. I did have the pleasure of seeing 1/2 of the #1 in my Top 5 (Outkast) and the rest of Dungeon Family. As I entered Fox Theatre, I knew It was about to be an epic night. I. HAD. A. BALL. KP the Great warmed up the crowd and played all of the ATL hip hop classics to get us ready for the YoungBloodz. I was leaning and rocking with a cup of Tito’s in each hand through the aisles (no Don Julio was sold at the venue). I did the pool palace with no shame while others joined. Goodie Mob came through with hella outfit changes and performed some of their biggest hits including Cell Therapy and They Don’t Dance No Mo’. Cee-Lo Green gave me life when he performed the classic, Crazy and sounded just as good live. Big Boi performed many Outkast hits and brought out Killer Mike for Kill Jill. Sleepy Brown did a few of his singles and of course I lost my mind when he performed SpottieOttieDopaliscious. Big Rube spit a poem about the generation of today, what he has witnessed, and how we have a ways to go to do and be better. I grabbed my ticket and hopped on Trans DF Express for wayyy more than 6 minutes and felt an energy in the building that was UNMATCHED.

I’m sure many Outkast fans were really hoping to see Andre, but real fans knew not to be surprised when he didn’t show. Dungeon Family performed his verses and no love was lost. I wouldn’t trade that experience for the world. I witnessed history.
