Table for Two (EP)

And somehow you find the time to wine & dine your bitches better than meeeee
This lyric was a tad bit triggering, but BOY! Yebba be SANGIN. “How Much Can A Heart Take” was an instant favorite. I decided to let this EP marinate with me before reviewing. Mainly because i just thought it was “Just okay”…and was wondering did i miss something?

Well, I did. The EP is a solid piece of R&B with features that DELIVERED. Not to mention, they were all women…very talented ones at that. I appreciate when features don’t outshine the artist’s project, but if you have been hip to Lucky Daye, then you know he has been doing this for a long time and won’t miss.

If you can’t stand the rain.. Then, I can’t stand the sunshine.
Ever been in a relationship when things are going well— it’s blissful, but when it’s bad, shit is treacherous? I mean the relationship where y’all are “cute” but not compatible? My favorite track, “My Window”, talks about forcing dynamics that simply aren’t worth the time and energy. As adults, we must have those difficult conversations, set expectations, and accept that when those expectations aren’t met— it’s time to move around.

No one likes their time wasted or being strung along. If you’re having doubts or second-guessing the situation you’re currently in, consider playing Lucky Daye’s Table for Two. He basically delivered us a smooth ass break-up soundtrack.
Oh, and Good Luck!
