I gave myself the challenge of discovering new (and seasoned, but new to me) artists inside and outside of the States who are killing the scene when it comes to Afro-Beats. The last function I attended, the DJ had an entire segment of this genre and I couldn't stop dancing, but I was also disappointed that I failed to pay attention throughout the years! It has the power to change my entire mood and with my birth-month around the corner, I decided to create a playlist to set the mood while getting ready to celebrate Lucky 27.
